Projects "Introduction IAS"

Today, research and academic transfer require a wide approach to various kinds of media. Therefore, in the Master of InterAmerican Studies / Estudios InterAmericanos students are involved in analyzing and creating media projects.

Each winter semester we offer the module "Introduction to InterAmerican Studies". This module includes student participation in a group seminar whose objective is the creation of a media project (documentary, radio program, website, etc.). The students design and conduct their own research as they work to implement the methodology of InterAmerican Studies.

Students of the Master in Inter-American Studies must complete a thesis project in which they are required to apply the Inter-American methodology. The students are given five months to prepare their thesis, which should be approximately seventy pages in length.

In this section you can find some of the theses previously completed in the program.

International Mentoring Programme

Moving to another country and switching to another language at the same time can make the orientation phase more interesting, but also more difficult. The International Mentoring Programme aims to support international students by providing them with mentors who can offer support in everyday life during your studies.
